Since colonial times, Hacienda Caone has been cultivated by Catholic missionaries who recognized the area’s unique microclimate — ideal for growing grains and raising goats. They were the first to introduce grapevines to the region, some of which are believed to be over 90 years old.
Captivated by its history and in search of a singular terroir, we discovered in Altos de Caone the perfect conditions to produce our Cabernet Sauvignon: wide thermal range, just the right amount of rainfall typical of the coastal drylands, and stony soils — all combining to yield a wine of outstanding quality.
Earthy on the nose, with ripe black fruit notes, this deeply ruby-colored wine offers a complex flavor profile, gently enhanced by a subtle touch of oak. We recommend pairing it with rich red meats and fine charcuterie.
Best served at 17–18°C.
