Since colonial times, Hacienda Caone was cultivated by Catholic missionaries who identified in the area a unique microclimate, ideal for growing grains and raising goats. They were the first to introduce grapevines to the region — vines believed to be over 90 years old.
Captivated by its history and in search of a distinctive terroir, we discovered in Altos de Caone the perfect conditions to produce our Cabernet Sauvignon. A wide thermal range, the precise rainfall of the coastal drylands, and stony soils come together to yield a wine of exceptional quality.
Earthy on the nose, with notes of ripe black fruits, this intensely ruby-colored wine offers a complex palate, gently balanced by a subtle touch of oak. We recommend pairing it with rich red meats and fine charcuterie.
Best served at 16°C.
