In 2019, we made the first harvest of our first 2 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in our Altos de Caone vineyard. A hot summer where the temperature reached maximums of 30º and the cool nights in this area of the coastal dryland forced us to concentrate on obtaining the right yields from each vine, obtaining grapes of an intense purple color and thick cuticle, from which we vinified in French oak barrels only 617 bottles of our first label, the Directory Reserve 2019.
Like all Cabernet del Valle del Maule, our Reserva del Directorio 2019 stands out for its intense red color, fruity aromas, in our case black plums and cassis, as well as attractive toasted notes that demonstrate the integration with the wood, a great body on the palate, soft tannins and a complex and persistent finish.
